QiuZhonghai, a Shanghai Top-level Principal and a Top-level teacher, has been the Principal of Shanghai Qibao High School since 1994. Principal Qiu has received many awards such as “National Excellent Educator”, “Shanghai Top-10 Principal”, “Shanghai Model Worker”, “Shanghai Education Contributor”; and enjoys a special allowance awarded by the State Council, etc. Principal Qiualso serves on various posts, including Adjunct Professor of the National Training Center for Secondary School Principals, Ministry of Education, P.R. China; Deputy Director of Shanghai High School Educational Management Committee; the Host of the Yangtze Delta Distinguished High School Principal Training Base; the Host of the Shanghai Distinguished Principal Training Base; and the Host of the Minhang Secondary School FoundationalPrincipal Training Base.
Huang Jian, a Top-Level teacher of Chinese language, has been the Principal of Shanghai Wenlai High School since 2009. Principal Huang who, graduated from East China Normal University with Master of Arts in Classical Literature, is now the councilor of the Shanghai High School Education Professional Committee, a committee member of Shanghai Non-Government Middle Schools and Primary Schools Association and the Principal of Shanghai Wenlai High School. He has received many awards such as the “Shanghai Model Educator”, “Outstanding Communist Party Member”of Minhang District, “Educational Cultivator” of Minhang District and “Contributor of Minhang District”.
While adhering to a suitable educational orientation and with the goal ofa building a balanced and healthy educational system, Principal Huang put forward his “Three Features” developmental plan. This consists of multiple paths to education, multiple choices of curriculum and multiple ways to achieve student success.It is his hope that this will further promote the development of Shanghai Wenlai High school, which became the first batch of Experimental and Leading Model Schools in Minhang District in 2010 and successfully won the qualification to run an international program in 2014 as one of 21 pilot schools in Shanghai.
Wendy Wang, the assistant of the principal of Shanghai Wenlai High School and the executive director of the International department, graduated from East China Normal University in 2007 with Master of Education. She then joined in Shanghai Wenlai High School and served as a class teacher, teaching Politics and doing some educational research work. In the meantime, Wendy Wang participates and works as a researcher in the Politics Teacher Studio of Minhang District and Shanghai Political Science Committee of Secondary Education. Because of her excellent working performance, she was rewarded as the Outstanding Communist and the Star of Hope of Minhang District. Since 2009, she started to be in charge of international department. With great effort, Shanghai Wenlai High School successfully acquired the qualification of independently operating international programs in 2014 and became one of the 21 pilot high schools with international programs approved by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
Liu Xin is vice director of the International Division of SWIS. She is also a psychology teacher. Ms. Liu received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Donghua University in 1997. In 2010, she completed her master’s degree in educational and developmental psychology at Beijing Normal University. Immediately after graduation, she worked as an administrator and trainer in several Fortune 500 companies. In 2004, she joined Wenlai High School as a full-time psychology teacher. Since then, she has held several different positions. She became a member of the International Division in 2012 and is now in charge of curriculum design and management. Ms. Liu is a Level 2 school psychologist certified by the Shanghai municipal government and a career development facilitator certified by the National Career Development Association (U.S.A).
国际部副主任 Craig Ramsey先生
J. Craig Ramsey先生2005年毕业于南卡罗莱纳大学，获教育学硕士学位。毕业后，他在南卡哥伦布市的一所蓝带IB学校教授美国历史，评价IB作业，并担任校学生会首席指导。他还在华盛顿哥伦比亚特区公立学校学区系统中担任领导职务，主要负责撰写学校提升方案，并通过分析学区内的相关数据来为学生学习创造更好的支持条件。他和他的夫人在2009年来到中国。他曾担任北京二十五中国际部外方校长。之后他帮助北京二中与美国的合作学校紧密协作，建立了国际课程项目。目前，Ramsey先生任文来国际部副主任，参与课程设计与实施，并帮助教师团队完成有实证支持的教学目标。Ramsey先生与夫人及两个年幼的儿子住在上海，他喜欢阅读，烹饪，与家人一起探索城市。
J. Craig Ramsey graduated with a Masters of Education from the University of South Carolina in 2005. Since that time, he has worked at a Blue Ribbon International Baccalaureate school in Columbia, South Carolina (USA) where he taught American history, judged IB projects and was the head advisor of the student council. He has also worked as an administrator for the District of Columbia Public School System in Washington, DC (USA) where he aided in the development of a school improvement plan and analyzed district-wide data to better support student learning. He and his wife relocated to China in 2009, and since then Mr. Ramsey has been foreign principal of the international programs at the No. 25 High School in Beijing, and more recently, at the No 2. High School in Beijing where he aided in the founding of a program in conjunction with an American-based partner school. Currently, Mr. Ramsey is Vice-Director of SWIS where he advises the school in regards to curriculum design and implementation and supports faculty members in the achievement of research-supported educational outcomes. Mr. Ramsey lives in Shanghai with his wife and two young sons and enjoys reading, exploring the city with his family, and cooking.
